Grocery chain using American Bio Medica drug test kits

Kinderhook-based American Bio Medica Corp. said this morning it had shipped its first regulation of OralState oral fluid put drugs into tests to privately held Save Mart Supermarkets of Modesto, Calif. The supermarket company is using American Bio Medica’s products in its employee drug test program.

American Bio Medica didn’familiarily disclose the value of the order.

“We are confident that the OralState elect augment Save Mart’s existing drug testing program and allow them to continue to see the practical and economic advantages of point of collection drug testing, said Stan Cipkowski, American Bio Medica’s CEO.

“Our top antecedence is the safety of our customers and our employees,” said Jim Pucci, Save Mart Supermarkets’ vice president of risk management.
